Lolol, so this is a tutorial that I completely did not plan on making. I had my first adventures in hairpiece land last weekend and I took a lot of pictures, so I figured I might as well make this.

I'm planning on cosplaying Natsuhi Ushiromiya (the crazy lady with the gun), who has a ridiculously high ponytail that does a weird flip thing at the top. I'm really terrified of doing updos on wigs, so I figured I could use my real hair instead since we both have brown hair. The only thing that I was missing was the bangs, which I have now.

Sorry about being really wordy. I basically did this to procrastinate instead of doing a paper, which apparently is motivation enough for me to waste 4+ hours writing a tutorial but not enough to proofread and pare down my writing. 8Db

I was wanting to cosplay a Genderbent!Izaya Orihara, and I have long black hair.
I grew out my hair and it's parted in the middle, so I have no bangs.
I didn't want to do the bald cap and stuff because that's just a waste of time and money!
So this...

this tutorial is very simple and usufull! I have so many cosplays I want to do with my natural hair but that I never want to cut my bangs like the character!

and it makes the bangs much more volumonous!
